VT Charity Templates: System Requirements
Shown below are the system requirements to use the Sorpaid Charity Accounts VT Templates. Specific system requirements and installation instructions for individual products are provided in your download section following completion of your purchase.
Required: VT Accounts
Our charity accounts production templates are dependent on a working installation of the VT Accounts Production software. VT is a widely used 3rd party Excel add-in and is available to download free for 60 days here. Please also see the system requirements for VT Software.
Operating System
The templates will work on most versions of Microsoft Windows (after Windows XP October 2001). If you are using Windows XP please note any special instructions in our installation guides. Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows are also supported.
Whilst the templates have been tested across multiple versions of Windows over the years, we only support operating systems that are under 'Extended Support' according to Microsoft's Lifecycle Policy. As of December 2015 this only includes Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.
Other non-Windows operating systems such as Mac OS, FreeBSD, Linux, Chrome OS, Android, Haiku and Ubuntu have not been tested and are not supported by Sorpaid.
Excel versions
Our charity accounts production templates requires 32 bit Microsoft Excel 2002 or later (including Excel 2016) for the Windows desktop, running on either a 32 bit or 64 bit PC. This mirrors the Excel Requirements for VT Final Accounts.
