Auditors with Charity Clients
These products have been developed for use in audit firms to assist with quality control. Peter Brown & Co, Registered Auditors, have been awarded the ACCA Quality Assured Mark, which gives clients of the firm the reassurance that the systems and procedures used by the firm are to the highest professional standards.
Through Sorpaid, these systems and procedures are being made available to colleagues in other firms. Although many of the products are primarily accountancy or tax related, they can be used for verification and validation purposes in the course of an audit.
Some of these products , such as our templates for preparing a SORP compliant set of accounts in conjunction with VT Software require a good working knowledge of Excel and VT software. The VT charity templates can be used to prepare accounts for audit purposes, and can assist with ensuring disclosure requirements are met and that the correct wording is used in the audit reports.
